Now celebrating its 15th year of exhibiting experimental contemporary art, Locust Projects is pleased to present the exhibition Grid’s World, a collaborative installation by Alexandra Hopf, Marcos Valella, Odalis Valdivieso, Siebren Versteeg and Gabriel Vormstein—artists working in Miami, New York, and Berlin. Considering the exhibition space as a framework, the artists will treat their individual works as flexible modules, collaging them together throughout all three galleries to create a massive collaborative installation. Throughout the installation, the individual artists’ works will function as exclusive relics within the crisscrossing positions of a new storyline base around inclusivity. The result is a mosaic of a show-construction, using the white cube as an open slate and drawing on a selfreflecting but mutual parallel and perpendicular progression–a grid.Find out more »

There is no other fundraiser quite like this one. The event revolves around a raffle , for which over one hundred local, national and international artists have donated artwork — enough so that each raffle ticket is guaranteed to win an artwork. Tickets are drawn at random during the party, with the winner getting their choice of artwork (i.e, first called gets first pick, and so on). The result is a fun way to place artwork into collections, connect with Miami’s art community, and support Locust Projects.Find out more »
