Pettersson (b. 1976, Stockholm) is known for her meticulous, large-scale graphite drawings, multi screen videos and sculptural installations. She received a Fulbright Grant to return to Sweden in 2000, attending the Valand School of Fine Arts in Gothenburg. She has received the South Florida Cultural Consortium Fellowship twice; has attended residencies at the Vermont Studio Center and Yaddo; and is currently a year long artist-in-resident locally at the Deering Estate. Selected exhibitions includie the Miami Art Museum, Miami; Museum of Contemporary Art North Miami; and Birmingham Museum, Birmingham. Her fifth solo show just took place at the Art and Culture Center of Hollywood and her first New York show opened in April 2013. The artist lives and works in Miami.
