Loriel Beltran (b. 1985, Caracas, Venezuela) lives and works in Miami, FL. Beltran received his BFA from New World School of the Arts in Electronic Intermedia. Working across various media and with an interest in faux finish surfaces, Beltran has been engaged in the re-sequencing of cultural detritus and wealth symbols, delving into a confrontation between formalism, taste and intention.
