Stuart Sheldon writes the Family Matters column for the Biscayne Times and a weekly blog exploring art~humor~life. He dropped out of the MFA in Film program at UM to work in Los Angeles as a production assistant for Michael Jackson and Donald Sutherland's personal assistant. He worked as a full-time fine artist in San Francisco from 2000-2009 and has exhibited his paintings and sculpture around the world. Sheldon just completed his first book, A Lonely Fool’s Masterpiece, chronicling the male experience of multiple miscarriages, as he and his wife tried for years, and nearly failed, to have their first child. He moved to Miami with his family five years ago from a Sausalito houseboat and is the grateful father of two impish boys.
